The track ‘MMS’ from Asake’s latest album ‘Lungu Boy,’ featuring Wizkid, has set a new streaming record on Spotify Nigeria after its first full day of release.
Asake‘s third studio album, ‘Lungu Boy,’ has been making waves, and his collaboration with Wizkid on the track ‘MMS’ has now set a new benchmark on the Spotify Top Songs Nigeria daily chart. With an impressive 870,000 streams, ‘MMS’ has achieved the highest first-day streams for a song on the chart, surpassing the previous record held by Wizkid’s ‘IDK’ featuring Zlatan, which had 626,000 streams.
‘MMS’ recorded over 100,000 streams within its first hour of tracking and saw a significant increase of more than 200,000 streams compared to ‘IDK.’ The track is quickly becoming a fan favorite from ‘Lungu Boy,’ alongside Asake’s collaboration with Travis Scott, ‘Active,’ which has also re-entered the Spotify Global Charts with over 1.7 million streams.
