Nigerian music star Fireboy DML has officially announced the release date for his fourth studio album, titled Adedamola.
The album is set to drop on August 29, 2024, marking another significant milestone in the 28-year-old artist’s career.
Fireboy, whose real name is Adedamola Adefolahan, is known for his impressive contributions to the music scene, having gained fame with his debut album Laughter, Tears & Goosebumps in 2019. This album was well-received and is often considered his best work. Following that, he released two more albums, APOLLO in 2020 and Playboy in 2022.
The announcement came via a post on social media on August 19, where Fireboy confirmed the album’s title and release date. He has only released one single, Everyday, in 2024, but fans are eager for more music from him.
While the complete tracklist for Adedamola has yet to be revealed, it is expected to feature previously released singles such as Yawa and Obaa Sima. Fans are anticipating a more personal and introspective direction in this new album, moving away from the themes of his last project.
Fireboy’s consistent output has solidified his status as one of the leading voices in contemporary Nigerian music, and expectations are high for Adedamola as he continues to evolve as an artist.
