Manchester City striker Erling Haaland is in contention for the PFA Player of the Year award, aiming to secure the title for the second consecutive year.
He has been nominated alongside his teammates Phil Foden and Rodri.
Haaland had another outstanding season, scoring 38 goals across all competitions as Manchester City clinched an unprecedented fourth consecutive Premier League title. The Norwegian forward previously won the PFA award following City’s treble-winning campaign in the 2022-23 season.
Rodri played a crucial role in City’s midfield during their latest Premier League success and also contributed to Spain’s victory in Euro 2024. Meanwhile, England’s Phil Foden netted 27 goals last season for Pep Guardiola’s side.
Other nominees for the award include Chelsea forward Cole Palmer, Arsenal midfielder Martin Ødegaard, and Aston Villa striker Ollie Watkins.
In the women’s category, the award will be contested between players from Chelsea and Manchester City. Chelsea’s Niamh Charles, Erin Cuthbert, and Lauren James are nominated alongside Yui Hasegawa, Lauren Hemp, and Khadija Shaw.
The winners of both awards will be announced at the PFA Awards ceremony in Manchester on August 20.
