Cole Palmer Signs Contract Extension with Chelsea Until 2033

England forward Cole Palmer has officially signed a two-year contract extension with Chelsea, securing his stay at the Premier League club until 2033, the club announced on Tuesday.

Palmer joined Chelsea from Manchester City in September of last year and had an impressive season, finishing with 22 goals—second only to Manchester City’s Erling Haaland. His performance earned him a spot in England’s squad for the upcoming European Championship.

The 22-year-old also made his mark in the national team, scoring as a substitute in the 2-1 defeat against Spain in the final.

With this extension, Palmer is committed to Chelsea for the next nine years, reflecting the club’s strategy of securing its young talents with long-term contracts.

“I achieved a lot in my first season here,” Palmer stated. “I hope to continue experiencing great things at this club, both personally and in terms of bringing success and trophies to Chelsea.”

Palmer has also been shortlisted for the Professional Footballers’ Association Player of the Year award, with the winner set to be announced on August 20.
