Rudi Galeti, a journalist from Sky Sport Italia, confirmed via his official X account that both parties have settled on terms after Osimhen ruled out a move to Saudi Arabia. Napoli is now anticipating a more lucrative offer from Chelsea, moving beyond their initial proposal for a loan deal.
Ben Jacobs, a chief correspondent for Talksport, also supported this news, stating that Napoli expects a permanent bid from Chelsea following recent discussions. The Italian club believes that a reduction in their asking price has encouraged Chelsea to pursue a permanent transfer instead of a temporary one. With Paris Saint-Germain seemingly losing interest in Osimhen, Chelsea finds itself in a stronger negotiating position.
Reports suggest that Osimhen could become one of Chelsea’s highest earners, though he would need to accept a performance-based wage structure. If an agreement on personal terms cannot be reached, Chelsea may shift their focus to other available targets.
