Terminator Returns to 1997 in New Netflix Anime Trailer

Netflix has unveiled the first trailer for its upcoming animated Terminator series, Terminator Zero, set to premiere on August 29th. Helmed by the renowned anime studio Production I.G., the show promises to deliver a fresh take on the iconic Terminator franchise.

The teaser trailer offers a glimpse into the series’ premise, which follows a resistance fighter sent back to the year 1997 on a mission to protect a scientist developing an AI that could potentially compete with the formidable Skynet. The trailer showcases intense action sequences, with explosions, robotic skulls, and a menacing Terminator presence, voiced by Timothy Olyphant.

The voice cast for Terminator Zero includes a talented ensemble, featuring André Holland, Rosario Dawson, Ann Dowd, and Sonoya Mizuno, alongside Olyphant’s portrayal of the iconic Terminator character.
