Rick Ross Attacked Following Kendrick Lamar Diss at Vancouver Show

Rick Ross was assaulted by Drake’s associates following a controversial moment at a concert in Canada. During his performance at Vancouver’s Ignite Music Festival, Ross played Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us,” a track known for its pointed jabs at Drake. Immediately after leaving the stage, Ross was confronted by a group of men apparently upset by the song choice on Drake’s home turf.

Words were exchanged before one of the men struck Ross, sparking a chaotic brawl that lasted several minutes. Ross managed to avoid much of the altercation after the initial punch. Ultimately, Drake’s team emerged victorious, leaving several of Ross’s entourage injured and one unconscious.

This incident occurred amidst ongoing tensions between Ross and Drake, which began with Ross’s diss track “Champagne Moments” in April. The feud escalated when Ross accused Drake of sending a cease-and-desist letter to French Montana, leading to a falling-out between the former collaborators.
