Quavo, the former Migos rapper, has been teasing a potential sequel to his collaborative album “Huncho Jack, Jack Huncho” with Travis Scott for some time now. The duo’s first joint project, released in 2017, was a commercial success, debuting at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 chart and generating 89,775 album-equivalent units in its first week.
Recently, Quavo took to Instagram to share a snippet of a new song featuring La Flame while riding on a boat in Miami. He also posted “HJ2” (presumably Huncho Jack 2) over a snap of the water, further hinting at the possibility of a sequel.
This is not the first time Quavo has teased the upcoming project. In February, he previewed a song at Travis Scott’s Super Bowl party in Las Vegas, though he didn’t provide any details on its release. Last year, Quavo subtly hinted at a new release in response to a thread celebrating Travis Scott’s achievements, writing: “That’s tuff next one loading….. battery up.”
Fans have expressed their excitement and anticipation for the potential sequel, with one commenter stating: “OMG PLEASE and we need The Scott’s then I can die peacefully. Hyped cause Quavo in his prime rn but I also really wanna see that Travis × Don Toliver project.”
While details remain scarce, it’s clear that Quavo and Travis Scott have been working on new music together. Fans eagerly await more information on the release of “Huncho Jack 2” and the musical magic the duo will create next.
