Marvel Studios has unveiled the first trailer for the upcoming Captain America: Brave New World, the fourth installment in the Captain America franchise. The film marks a significant transition, as Anthony Mackie’s Sam Wilson takes on the mantle of Captain America following Chris Evans’ Steve Rogers.
The trailer offers the first glimpse of a major new character – the Red Hulk, played by Harrison Ford in his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut. Ford’s character, General Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross, is now the newly elected U.S. President, setting up a tense dynamic between him and the new Captain America.
The plot synopsis reveals that Sam Wilson finds himself in the middle of an “international incident” after meeting with President Ross. He must uncover a “nefarious global plot” before the true mastermind behind it forces “the entire world [to be] seeing red.”

Fans have long speculated that the villain behind the scenes could be Samuel Sterns, also known as The Leader, played by Tim Blake Nelson. The trailer’s mention of a “true mastermind” lends credence to this theory, as The Leader’s cunning intellect could be the driving force behind the events of the film, potentially manipulating both Captain America and the Red Hulk.
