The highly anticipated second season of “The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power” has unveiled a thrilling new trailer at San Diego Comic-Con, offering fans a glimpse into the epic battles and pivotal moments that await in Middle-earth.
Set thousands of years before the events of “The Lord of the Rings,” the prequel series continues to explore the origins of some of Tolkien’s most famous characters and the rise of evil in the form of Sauron, played by Charlie Vickers.
The trailer, running an impressive 3 minutes and 40 seconds, is packed with ominous teases of Sauron’s machinations now that he has shed his disguise as Halbrand and embraced his true form as Annatar. Fans also get their first look at the enigmatic Tom Bombadil and the intriguing revelation that the mysterious Entwives will play a significant role in the upcoming season.
