Elon Musk Says His Son Was ‘Killed’ by the ‘Woke Mind-Virus’ in Controversial Interview

In a recent interview with commentator Jordan Peterson, Elon Musk expressed deep regret over his transgender child’s transition, claiming he was misled into allowing gender-altering procedures for his son, Xavier. Musk stated, “I was essentially tricked into signing documents for Xavier,” emphasizing that this occurred during a confusing time amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Musk described his son as “dead,” attributing this loss to what he calls the “woke mind-virus.” He claimed that the pressure to consent to puberty blockers was rooted in fears about potential suicide, a common argument made in lawsuits involving detransitioners. He criticized the concept of “gender-affirming care,” labeling it as a euphemism for child sterilization and mutilation.

During the interview, Musk articulated his belief that children undergo natural identity crises and can be manipulated into believing they need to transition. He argued for the necessity of an age of consent, stating that allowing minors to make irreversible decisions could lead to lifelong regrets.

Musk’s comments have sparked significant debate regarding parental rights, transgender healthcare, and societal influences on personal decisions. He reiterated his commitment to combat what he perceives as harmful ideologies, stating, “I vowed to destroy the woke mind-virus after that.”

This conversation comes in the context of Musk’s recent decision to relocate SpaceX’s headquarters from California to Texas, citing new legislation that limits parental notification regarding children’s gender identity changes. Musk’s remarks have drawn mixed reactions online, with some supporting his views while others criticize his stance and parenting decisions.
