Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster is a graphically enhanced version of the original Dead Rising game, set to release on September 19, 2024 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series consoles. The remaster features improved visuals, performance, and quality-of-life improvements using Capcom’s RE Engine.
The game’s environments, characters, and backgrounds have received a full graphical overhaul, with Frank West’s character model looking more realistic and natural. Notably, the poodle character Madonna appears to have a fluffier, more dog-like appearance. However, the original voice actor for Frank West, TJ Rotolo, is not reprising his role in this remaster.
In addition to the enhanced graphics, the remaster includes features like auto-save, revamped controls, and a better user interface. While the digital version launches on September 19, a physical release is planned for November.
