Will Smith’s Quiet Return to Music
In recent months, Will Smith has been making a notable return to music. He surprised fans during J Balvin’s set at Coachella, performing his classic hit “Men in Black” in his iconic black suit and sunglasses from the 1997 film. The performance included an elaborate, alien-themed stage setup, with Smith wielding a “Neuralyzer,” the fictional memory-erasing device from the movie.
Additionally, Smith released his first new music in nearly five years with the Sean Paul collaboration “Light Em Up,” featured on the “Bad Boys: Ride or Die” soundtrack. Over a dynamic, dancehall-influenced beat, Smith showcased his lyrical prowess and versatility, proving he remains a powerful force in the music industry.
“Back in this bitch like I never left/ The Devil came for me, should have worn a vest/ You thought I lost something, I ain’t miss a step/ You want some old me? Say less,” he raps.
He continues: “I’m bad to the bone when I get it rocking/ I’m back in my zone, ’bout to get it popping/ Will still plugged in, yeah, it’s pretty shocking/ Like a brand new Porsche, I got plenty options.”
