NPFL 2023/24 Champions Rangers of Enugu celebrating with the 2023/24 NPFL Trophy.
Rangers International Football Club of Enugu, also known as the Flying Antelopes, have been declared the champions of the Nigerian Premier Football League for the 2023/2024 season.
The Flying Antelopes secured the title with a 2-1 victory over Gombe United at the Zaria Road Stadium in Jos, marking their 8th league title with an impressive 70 points from 38 matches.
Team captain Amobi Ezeakwu received the championship trophy and the one hundred and fifty million naira prize from Nigeria Football Federation president Ibrahim Musa Gusau.
The match was attended by notable dignitaries, including members of the Nigeria Football Federation board, league board chairman Gbenga Elegbeleye, Plateau State Governor Caleb Mutfwang, and Enugu State Governor Peter Mbah.
Following this victory, Rangers International will represent Nigeria in the African Champions League competition, alongside Remo Stars.
