G-Assist offers two primary functions: setup assistance and in-game optimization. In a demonstration within ARK: Survival Ascended, NVIDIA illustrates its ability to answer queries such as “which early game weapon is most effective, and where can I acquire the necessary crafting materials?” In response, it suggests the spear and elucidates the process of gathering wood, flint, and fiber to manufacture one.
Another tool within G-Assist appears less morally debatable. If you inquire about optimizing settings for a game like Cyberpunk 2077, it can directly apply the highest quality graphics settings or analyze your entire system and recommend enhancements, such as increasing your 4K monitor’s refresh rate from 60Hz to 144Hz.
Ethical Implications and Previous Use of the G-Assist Name
Some purists might see G-Assist as cheating, but the feature offers another tool that appears less ethically fraught.
