Nvidia Surpasses Microsoft as World’s Most Valuable Company Amid AI Boom

Nvidia has achieved a historic milestone, surpassing Microsoft to become the world’s most valuable company. This significant achievement underscores Nvidia’s pivotal role in the artificial intelligence revolution.

As of Tuesday, Nvidia’s market capitalization soared to $3.335 trillion with its stock price rising by 3.5 percent to $135.58. This landmark comes on the heels of Nvidia recently overtaking Apple as the second most valuable company globally.

The company’s remarkable ascent has been fueled by robust demand for its GPUs, essential for advancing AI technologies. Nvidia dominates 80 percent of the AI chip market, crucial for data centers powering AI applications like OpenAI’s ChatGPT.
