Patoranking Launches $500,000 Tech Scholarship in Partnership with ALX Africa

Nigerian singer Patoranking has announced a new tech scholarship program in partnership with ALX Africa. This $500,000 initiative will benefit 40 individuals.

In an Instagram post on May 30, 2024, Patoranking shared details about the scholarship, which is administered through the Patoranking Foundation and ALX Africa. He highlighted how technology has transformed his music career and business, urging followers to apply via the Patoranking Foundation. “Embracing technology has been a game changer in my music career and business,” he wrote. “There are 40 spaces available. My birthday gift to 40 people only. Let’s go!”

Scholarship Details and Benefits
The scholarship aims to equip learners with essential tech skills and practical experience. Successful candidates will have their administrative fees covered by the Patoranking Foundation for the ALX tech training program. Upon completing the program, recipients will have the chance for a paid internship with a top tech company.

Patoranking Foundation’s Ongoing Efforts
Founded over six years ago, the Patoranking Foundation focuses on education, entrepreneurship, and empowerment. It collaborates with schools in Ebonyi State, Patoranking’s home state, supporting over 170 young people in primary and secondary schools. The foundation aims to foster change and empower youth.

This scholarship is part of Patoranking’s commitment to education and youth empowerment, offering young Africans a chance to enhance their tech skills and career prospects.
