Renowned street artist Habeeb Okikiola, famously known as Portable, has been apprehended by law enforcement for allegedly defaulting on the payment for a Mercedea Benz SUV that he purchased from a dealership.
Portable, recognized for his hit track “Zazoo Zeh,” was detained on Tuesday in Lagos’s Abule Egba vicinity, as stated by Benjamin Hundeyin, the police spokesperson in the region.

Reports indicate that despite acquiring the vehicle valued at ₦27 million, Portable only settled ₦13 million of the total amount owed.
In a widely circulated video, Portable can be observed evading police custody by scaling a gate. Subsequently, another footage depicted him being escorted forcefully, handcuffed, and placed into a waiting vehicle by several officers.
