Renowned Nigerian singer Chinedu Okoli, popularly known as Flavour, has announced the passing of his cherished father on social media.
On Wednesday, May 22, 2024, Flavour posted an emotional tribute on X, commemorating his late father with a touching moment.
The post featured a moving scene of the artist strumming his guitar and singing, while his father, seated in a wheelchair, listened and nodded in appreciation.
Surrounded by his children, the elder Okoli appeared to be deeply moved by his son’s highlife performance, capturing the profound bond between Flavour and his father.
The tribute also highlighted that Flavour’s father was the grandfather of a blind child, underscoring the family’s shared love for music and their close-knit relationships.
