Don Toliver unveils the official trailer for his forthcoming album, titled “HARDSTONE PSYCHO.” The teaser, shared across social media platforms, features glimpses of what appears to be a recent festival performance, with appearances by Ty Dolla Sign, Travis Scott, and others.
This album campaign gained momentum with the release of “Bandit” in February, showcasing a fresh motorcycle club aesthetic. Following up on this, Toliver dropped “Deep In The Water” on March 14. Additionally, this month marked a significant personal milestone for him and his partner, Kali Uchis, as they welcomed their son into the world.
Expressing gratitude on Instagram, the Houston artist shared heartfelt sentiments, thanking everyone for their support and blessings.
In 2023, Toliver, under Scott’s Cactus Jack imprint, released “Love Sick,” a 16-track project featuring collaborations with James Blake, GloRilla, Lil Durk, Justin Bieber, Future, Wizkid, and Brent Faiyaz. The album soared to the top 10 on the Billboard 200 and peaked at No. 4 on the Top R&B/Hip Hop Albums chart. Shortly after its release, “Love Sick” received a deluxe edition with four additional tracks and contributions from Scott and Teezo Touchdown.
Reflecting on the release of “Love Sick” in an interview with Apple Music, Toliver described the journey of creating the project as both fulfilling and intense, highlighting the continuous dedication he poured into it since April 2022.
