The 23rd Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival took place over the weekend, representing Nigeria and Afrobeats, Tems graced the stage, where she also brought out the big guns.
During her performance, she began the song ‘Essence’ which Wizkid featured Justin Bieber on, and then she brought them out on stage.
Tems had initially teased fans long before her performance about an exciting surprise on X where she wrote, “Coachella! I’m too excited I have a surprise tonight.”
Wizkid joined Tems on stage first after which Justin Bieber joined the performance.
After the performance, Tems could be heard saying, “Oh my God, this is crazy. Give it up for Justin and the legend,” referring to Wizkid as a legend.
After her performance she said on X that she would be back next week, writing, “Thank you Coachella, till next weekend.” Coachella this year runs from April 12-14 and 19-21.
