Paid users of ChatGPT now have access to GPT-4 Turbo, an upgraded version of the large learning model previously known as GPT-4. OpenAI recently introduced this enhancement, announcing it on social media platform X (formerly Twitter).
The company emphasized improvements in math, logical reasoning, coding, and writing skills. Feedback from users suggests that responses generated with ChatGPT will be more concise, direct, and conversational. Additionally, in December, Microsoft integrated GPT-4 Turbo with its CoPilot AI chatbot and DALL-E 3 image generator.

When GPT-4 Turbo was unveiled by OpenAI in November, it was highlighted for significant upgrades to the system that powers ChatGPT. Notably, GPT-4 Turbo can process six times more pages of text than its predecessor, GPT-4, with an increase from 50 to 300 pages. This expansion allows for handling more complex prompts and generating more sophisticated responses. Additionally, the large language model is capable of creating captions or descriptions for image prompts and fulfilling text-to-speech requests.
Since its initial announcement, GPT-4 Turbo has seen further advancements. OpenAI initially extended its world knowledge to April 2023, surpassing the cutoff of GPT-4, which was limited to September 2021. Now, GPT-4 Turbo’s knowledge base extends all the way up to December 2023.
