Davido‘s track “Unavailable” has achieved a significant milestone by surpassing 100 million streams on both YouTube and Spotify, garnering international recognition for its success. The music video for the song, which features South African artist Musa Keys, has also reached the 100 million views mark on YouTube.
Originally released on April 11, 2023, as part of Davido’s highly acclaimed album “Timeless,” “Unavailable” has emerged as one of the most streamed Afrobeats songs of 2023. It received accolades such as being named Rihanna’s favorite single of the year.
This achievement marks “Unavailable” as Davido’s first song to reach 100 million streams on Spotify. It joins his previous hits “If,” “Fall,” and “FIA” from 2017 as the fourth song from his discography to achieve this milestone.
In response to the success of “Unavailable,” Davido released a remix EP featuring collaborations with Jamaican Dancehall star Sean Paul and American rapper Latto. Moreover, the single has recently been honored with a SNEP Gold plaque in France after reaching 15 million streams, solidifying its status as a global hit.
