Bella Shmurda has announced the release date for his tribute EP dedicated to his late friend and fellow artist, Mohbad. Titled “Road to Sept 12,” the EP is set to drop on April 26, 2024, and features five tracks with guest appearances from Bloody Civilian, Jeriq, and Zlatan.
In an interview with Capital Xtra Radio, Bella Shmurda shared his plans for 2024, including two new projects. “Road to Sept 12” is the first of these projects, serving as an interlude for fans before the release of a full-length album in September, commemorating Mohbad’s passing on September 12, 2023.

The EP pays tribute to Mohbad’s influence on Nigerian music, and Bella Shmurda’s dedication extends to his active advocacy for mental health awareness and standing against bullying. Shmurda has been successful in selling out shows in Ibadan and London and has recently collaborated with rapper Vector on the track “If They Are Real.”
Fans eagerly anticipate the EP and the album, which promise to honor Mohbad’s memory and impact through emotional and thoughtful music.
