Sony Pictures has unveiled the trailer for the highly anticipated “Bad Boys 4,” starring the iconic duo Will Smith and Martin Lawrence. The official title of the film is “Bad Boys: Ride or Die.”
This marks the fourth installment in the beloved action-comedy series that kicked off in 1995, introducing Smith and Lawrence as the dynamic Miami PD detectives, Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett, tackling the underworld of illegal drug trading in Miami.
While the first two films were helmed by Michael Bay, “Bad Boys for Life” was directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, who return to steer the latest chapter of the “Bad Boys” saga. Joining the cast are Vanessa Hudgens, Alexander Ludwig, Paola Núñez, Eric Dane, Ioan Gruffudd, Jacob Scipio, Melanie Liburd, Tasha Smith, Rhea Seehorn, and Joe Pantoliano.
Adding to the excitement, Sony has announced the inclusion of Tiffany Haddish in a yet-to-be-disclosed role, building on her rapport with the Smith family following her role in the 2017 hit “Girls Trip.”
After a seventeen-year gap between “Bad Boys II” in 2003 and “Bad Boys for Life” in 2020, which coincided with the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, fans eagerly anticipate the return of their favorite duo to the big screen.
In “Bad Boys for Life,” the plot delves into the perilous encounter with Armando, portrayed by Jacob Scipio, whose vendetta against Mike unveils unexpected family ties, setting the stage for further intrigue in the upcoming film.
“Bad Boys 4” is slated for a theatrical release on June 7, promising adrenaline-pumping action and the trademark banter between our favorite Miami cops.
