The Super Falcons of Nigeria find themselves in what has been labeled as the “Group of Death” as they prepare for the upcoming Olympic Games in Paris, commencing in July 2024.
This formidable group includes reigning World Champions Spain, former World Champions Brazil, and the formidable women’s football powerhouse, Japan. However, before the Super Falcons can entertain hopes of advancing from this challenging group, they must first overcome the South African team.
To secure their place in the competition, the West African giants will need to navigate past Bayana Bayana over two legs in April. The first leg is scheduled for April 4th in Nigeria, with the return leg taking place just five days later in South Africa.
