Oscars 2024: Oppenheimer Emerges Clear Winner With Best Film, Top Acting Awards And Six Others



The 96th Academy Awards took place at the Dolby Theatre at Ovation Hollywood in Los Angeles and it was attended by Hollywood’s finest with Jimmy Kimmel hosting for the fourth time.
Oppenheimer which had thirteen nominations topped the winning list with seven awards winning, Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Supporting Actor, Best Cinematography, Best Original Score and Best Film Editing.

Emma Stone won Best Actress for ‘Poor Things’, which also snapped up three crafts wins, for Best Costume Design, Production Design, and Makeup and Hairstyling.

Da’Vine Joy Randolph on the other hand won Best Supporting Actress for her role in ‘The Holdovers’.
Hayao Miyazaki and Toshio Suzuki’s ‘The Boy And The Heron’ was named Best Animated Feature, while Jonathan Glazer’s ‘The Zone Of Interest’ won the Oscar for Best International Feature and Best Sound, ‘20 Days in Mariupol’ won the award for Best Documentary, while ‘Godzilla: Minus One’ won Best Visual Effects.

Billie Eilish and Finneas O’Connell won the Oscar for Best Original Song for ‘What Was I Made For?’ from Barbie, while Justine Triet and Arthur Harari won Best Original Screenplay for ‘Anatomy Of A Fall’ with Cord Jefferson winning Best Adapted Screenplay for ‘American Fiction’ amongst others.
