Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign soar to the top of this week’s Billboard 200 chart with their collaborative album, ‘Vultures Volume 1’.
According to Billboard, the first installment of their trilogy amassed a total of 148,000 units in its debut week, including 129,000 in streaming equivalent album units (equivalent to 167.78 million on-demand official streams of the songs), 18,000 in album sales, and 1,000 in track equivalent album units. ‘Vultures Volume 1’ marks Ye’s 11th No. 1 album, tying him with the likes of Bruce Springsteen and Barbara Streisand, while it also serves as Ty’s first chart-topper and his second top 10 effort.
Following closely behind at No. 2 is Usher with ‘Coming Home’, marking his highest-charting album in over a decade. The project garnered 91,000 units in its debut week, comprising 53,000 in album sales, 34,500 in streaming equivalent album units (equivalent to 45.82 million on-demand streams of the songs), and 3,500 in track equivalent album units.
Rounding out the remainder of the top 10 are albums that have previously reached No. 1, including Morgan Wallen at No. 4, SZA at No. 6, Taylor Swift with multiple entries at Nos. 6, 7, and 8, Toby Keith at No. 9, and Drake at No. 10.
