Usher, 45, is a married man after the Grammy-winning R&B star and his girlfriend, Jennifer Goicoechea, 40, officially tied the knot.
According to Clark County Clerk’s Office records reviewed by USA TODAY Monday, the newlywed couple said “I do” on Super Bowl Sunday. They were married at Vegas Weddings just hours after the superstar’s headlining performance during the Super Bowl halftime show, according to the Associated Press.
Usher and Goicoechea “took the next step in their relationship and did get married on Sunday night in Las Vegas surrounded by close friends and family,” a representative for the singer said in a statement to USA TODAY Tuesday. “They both look forward to continuing to raise their children together surrounded by love and thank everyone for the well wishes.”
