Adidas has unveiled an exciting collaboration with Manchester United Football Club and iconic Manchester band, The Stone Roses.
The Stone Roses have long been intertwined with Manchester United’s identity, with their anthem “This is The One” becoming synonymous with match days at the Theatre of Dreams. Now, the two cultural icons have joined forces to introduce a special apparel collection inspired by The Roses’ legendary album artwork.
A standout piece in the collection is the Icon Jersey, featuring the iconic backdrop from guitarist John Squire’s artwork fused with adidas Originals’ timeless aesthetic. The design pays homage to The Stone Roses’ album cover, incorporating details like the red, white, and blue adidas Three Stripe sleeve and gold “The Stone Roses” lettering on the inside collar. The Manchester United crest is also reimagined, featuring the words “This is the One” and two lemon slices replacing footballs.
