Tiwa Savage, a multi award-winning singer and entertainer, has taken the step of writing to the Commissioner of Police, Lagos State, concerning purported threats she claims to have received from her fellow artist Davido.
In her letter addressed to the Commissioner of Police, Tiwa Savage detailed the alleged threats she encountered from Davido in relation to a recent post featuring her at an event with Sophia Momodu, the mother of Davido’s first daughter. This revelation came to light shortly after both artists unfollowed each other on the widely used social media platform, Instagram.
In her communication to the Commissioner of Police, Tiwa Savage highlighted that Davido expressed feelings of being mocked and ridiculed in a message she received from him. This message was in response to a video she shared where she was seen with Sophia Momodu, a period during which Davido and Sophia were reportedly not on speaking terms.

Tiwa Savage further disclosed that she subsequently received a threat from Davido through shared acquaintances, cautioning her to be vigilant while in Lagos. She has urged the police force to conduct a thorough investigation into the matter, providing images of the conversations on social media as supporting evidence.
