Davido’s ‘Unavailable’ Achieves BRIT Silver Certification in the UK

Davido’s chart-topping hit, ‘Unavailable,’ featuring Musa Keys, has secured yet another milestone by earning a BRIT silver certification in the United Kingdom. The song, celebrated for its infectious dance moves that went viral on various social media platforms, has now surpassed 200,000 units in sales in the UK.

Noteworthy accomplishments include ‘Unavailable’ peaking at No. 52 on the UK Singles Chart and claiming the top spot at No. 1 on the UK Afrobeats Chart. This success further solidifies the international acclaim of the single, which is part of Davido’s fourth album, ‘Timeless.’ The album itself broke numerous first-week African streaming records.

With the BRIT silver certification, ‘Unavailable’ adds another feather to its cap, marking its third international certification. Previously, the song received Gold certifications in Switzerland and Canada. The track is now gearing up for the prestigious 2024 Grammy Awards, where it is nominated for the Best African Song Performance category. The awards ceremony is scheduled for February 5.
