The circumstances surrounding the demise of Nigerian music sensation Mohbad, also known as Imole, remain surrounded by controversy and unanswered queries.
In a recent statement posted on Mohbad’s Instagram account by his management team, several updates and clarifications have been provided to address the ongoing misconceptions and miscommunication related to his death.
The statement, released on January 15, 2024, months after Mohbad’s passing, underscores the continued collaboration with authorities to ensure transparency and resolution for all involved parties. It was disclosed that the police had conducted an investigation, and the autopsy results from samples sent abroad were anticipated to be shared in the coming months.
Furthermore, the statement debunked false information, specifically rejecting the reported existence of a will or any thumb-printed document. It was emphasized that neither Mohbad’s management nor his legal representative had communicated the existence of such a document to the family or the public. The statement urged everyone to refrain from sharing inaccurate and misleading information.

They clarified that the accounts would be duly handed over to the family once the internal dispute is resolved.
