In a tragic turn of events, three construction workers met with an unfortunate accident on Usman Mogaji Street, Ajangbadi in Lagos State. Around 1:00 am on Monday, while the workers were resting at the construction site, bags of cement collapsed on them. The mishap led to the death of a 40-year-old man named Chinedu, while injuring two of his co-workers.
The incident came to light when an anonymous eyewitness heard a strange noise from the site. The source of the noise was the distressing sight of workers trapped under the cement bags. Despite immediate efforts to rescue them, Chinedu’s injuries were too severe, and he was declared dead upon arrival at the hospital. The other two workers, though injured, survived the ordeal.
