Nigerian singer, Temilade Openiyi, popularly known as Tems, has recounted her ordeal in Ugandan prison, where she was jailed for two days.
If you would recall, Tems and Omah Lay were arrested and charged to court and subsequently detained in prison when they went to perform in Uganda shortly after COVID curfew was lifted in the country.
Reliving this during an interview with Angie Martinez of Power 105.1 FM, New York, Tems explained that they didn’t exactly break any COVID-19 rules but their arrest was a set up from a local artiste who promised to deal with them.
