Rema, Ayra Starr and Asake drop songs for 66th Grammy Award.

No doubt, the Nigerian music industry is on a giant stride with sensational Afrobeat artists beaming across the music industry in the world.

Given the exploit, afro Nigerian artists making waves across the world namely; Rema, Asake, and Ayra Starr submit songs for recognition on the 66TH Grammy award.

On Wednesday, 11th October 2023, Ayra Starr formally announced the submission of a song to be considered for the prestigious Grammy Award.

This was announced on her social media as she thanked her entire teammates for the success.

The songwriter in her post shared deep appreciation to her fans and music lovers.

Also, She divulged that the Recording Academy has received her song “Rush,” from the deluxe edition of her first album “19 & Dangerous,”

Rush was for possible nominations in unidentified categories at the 66th Grammy Award.

Also, ‘The Lonely at the Top” singer announced his music submission for the Grammy Award recognition.

On Thursday, 12th October 2023, the singer shared on social media 4 of his songs for the following category.

Rema’s For Your Consideration Banner

The latest afro sensation, Rema officially submitted a Four Your Consideration Banner to the Recording Academy.

With Rema’s hit song Calm Down, which features Selena Gomez, the young star heightened the anticipation surrounding the 66th Grammy Award.

2024 Grammy Award

The 66th Annual Grammy Awards started on Wednesday, 11th of October 2023 with the first-round voting to end on Friday, 20th October 2023.

Meanwhile, these votes will determine the nominations for the 2024  event.

Afterwards, The nominees will be announced on the 10th of November 2023.
