Davido confessed that he was shaken by the news of the twins

Davido and his wife, Chioma experienced a double blessing as they welcomed their twins after the grief of their late son, Ifeanyi Chukwu Adeleke.

Joy overflowed as the longtime partner, Davido, and wife, Chef Chic welcomed their twin baby in a viral video they shared on the internet.

On Friday, October 13, a viral video of the happy couple outside a hospital sent the internet into a frenzy.

Chioma held their newborns in her arms as she sat in a wheelchair, signifying their newfound happiness.

Also, The video which was recorded by the singer’s billionaire father showed the happy couple leaving the medical facility in the United Kingdom.

Before now, there were rumors that their children would be born; however, the singer declined to acknowledge the rumors

The Adelekes welcome their “double” blessing

This news got the internet buzzing and lifted the entertainment industry as fans and lovers troop in their congratulatory messages on the couple.

This news was shared by the couples after several days of speculation by the public awaiting their confirmation.

The twins were welcomed by the family on the 10th of October 2023.

Their loss

The couple who had suffered the loss of their only son, Ifeanyichukwu Adeleke, in November 2022 after he drowned in their swimming pool at their Lekki residence, witnessed a double portion as they welcomed the twins.

In a recent interview with Steve Stoute, Davido shared that the death of his 3-year-old son, Ifeanyi, had caused him to lose faith. He said that it was really difficult to get back up after experiencing such a loss.

In his words;

“There are a lot of people that those things happen to, you would never want to believe in God in your life. But to still have faith and I’m still able to do what I love, having a great team around me. And now we’re almost at the finish line.

“When I and my wife found out, we were shaking and it was in the same month, happened in October and my wife gave birth in October, it’s crazy.”

Following the confirmation of their twins’ arrival, fans and celebrities have been congratulating the new parents on Twitter, with the hashtag #doubleblessings becoming popular.
