Once Again, the 2023 Headies Award made a show of Afrobeat music and culture as it celebrates A-list African musicians who continue to triumph and portray Afro-music to the world.

The 16th edition of the Headies Award, tagged ‘Celebrating African Renaissance,’ took place on Sunday at Atlanta’s Cobb Energy Performing Arts Center. The event was held in the United States for the second year in a row.

The event witnessed a turn-up of African artists, the likes of Rema, Asake, Osas Ighodaro, and many others.

This prestigious award has grown to become the most sought-after honor in the Nigerian music scene, commemorating and recognizing remarkable talent, creativity, and brilliance in the industry.

The Headies Award which began in 2006, remains one of the largest events in the world as it continues to document the progress made in the African music
