Nigeria’s exceptional songwriter and singer, Teni, has embraced the role of Spotify EQUAL Africa ambassador for August 2023. This distinguished appointment solidifies her standing as a leading musical force in Africa. 

Spotify’s Head of Music for sub-Saharan Africa, Phiona Okomu, officially shared the news on Monday, August 7th. The move demonstrates Spotify’s ongoing commitment to equality and diversity in the music industry and the acknowledgment of exceptional female artists from diverse backgrounds.

This recognition allows Teni’s global admirers and music enthusiasts to immerse themselves in her impressive discography, gaining a deeper understanding of her extraordinary talent and significant contributions to the music world.
