President Tinubu, while addressing Nigerians on the pains that come with the removal of the fuel subsidy, said a new minimum wage is on its way, adding that the Presidential Steering Committee would decide on Palliatives.
The Presidential Steering Committee on Palliatives is a committee that constituted a team of the federal government and representatives of organized labor, including the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and the Trade Union Congress (TUC).
During the speech, the president disclosed that once the team agreed on the minimum wage, his administration would make provisions for the review in the budget.
