“I’m certainly game for a battle. The category features several well-known fighters, but take a look at what this battle accomplishes, stated Joshua. “This war is profitable. Whyte is no longer a rival, at least not in my eyes. He is another body in the way”, Joshua stated.

Meanwhile, Whyte explained “I want three things from boxing. I want to avenge my defeats which are obviously to Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury. I want to become a world champion. And I want to make some money too. I ain’t got no money, I’m broke, I want that AJ money.”

“History of Violence”  birth the fighters’ rematch after the fight in 2015 Where the WBC International and Commonwealth heavyweight championships were retained by Anthony Joshua after a seventh-round TKO victory, and he also claimed the vacant British heavyweight title.

He defeated Emanuele Leo by way of a technical knockout in his official debut in 2013. His victory over Denis Bakjtov earned him the WBC International Heavyweight Championship in 2014. He then fought IBF heavyweight champion Charles Martin in 2016 to earn his first world title. To keep this title, he faced Dominic Breazeale in a fight.

Earlier this year, Joshua lost two consecutive fights to Oleksandr Usyk but bounced back with a win over Jermaine Franklin in April.

Dillian Whyte has one final opportunity in this rematch to establish himself as a serious heavyweight title contender before facing Anthony Joshua on August 12.

After failing to defeat WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury last year, Whyte’s window of opportunity to fight the big names is now rapidly closing, making this fight against Joshua crucial to extending his career.

However, Whtye’s tough fight with Parker in July 2018 and his rematch with Veteran Chisora in December 2028 remain two of his biggest victories.

The Fate

If Joshua loses, the fight with Wilder will probably be canceled. With a victory, Whyte, who lost to Tyson Fury for the WBC title in April 2021, might reposition himself as a contender

However, Joshua and his supporters are anticipating this important fight in the hopes that a successful performance would restore his earlier vitality. They are aware that a victory may possibly open the door for a major match against Deontay Wilder.
