Apple Music exclusively streamed Burna Boy’s electrifying performance in the London concert, with a record of the most streamed Nigerian artist songs of all time.
Grammy Award-winning artist Burna Boy has made history with his London stadium concert, which was streamed in a remarkable 165 countries on Apple Music. The electrifying performance took place yesterday and showcased the music icon’s biggest hits, including “Last Last,” “Sittin’ On Top of the World,” and “Real Life,” with special guest appearances from Dave, Stormzy, Popcaan, and J Hus.

Fans worldwide can enjoy exclusive streams of Burna’s captivating performance on both Apple Music and Apple TV+ in 165 countries. This London tour has marked another milestone for Burna Boy’s Grammy-nominated sixth album, “Love, Damini,” which reached the No. 1 position in an astounding 70 nations.

During an interview with Ebro Darden, the Afropop sensation expressed his gratitude for the unforgettable experience of performing at the London Stadium. He acknowledged the unmatched energy from the crowd and thanked his fans for their unwavering support. Burna Boy emphasized that music goes beyond a genre, and he aims to make the world understand this concept.

As the most-streamed Nigerian artist of all time on Apple Music, Burna Boy has secured his legendary status. His acclaimed 2019 album “African Giant” set a new record for the largest African album by first-day and first-week streams worldwide. Additionally, his 2022 album “Love, Damini” swiftly rose to the number one spot on Apple Music. More than 130 nations have featured Burna Boy’s songs in their Daily Top 100, with 98 of those countries placing them in the Top 10.

Notably, Burna Boy becomes the second African musician to perform on Apple Music Live, following in the footsteps of Wizkid. His accomplishments continue to solidify his position as a groundbreaking artist and a significant influence on the global music scene
