Following the commencement of his solo music journey, Adekunle Gold has officially announced a second collaboration with his wife, Simisola, which will be featured in his upcoming album titled “Tequila Ever After.”
Anticipating the release of the “Tequila Ever After” album, famous Afropop artist Adekunle Gold has treated his fans to a sneak peek of one of the recordings and a duet session with his wife and talented songwriter, Simisola Gold, on the song “Look What You Made Me Do.” This exciting video was shared by AG Baby on his Instagram and YouTube platforms earlier this week, generating significant buzz and anticipation among his followers.
“Look What You Made Me Do” marks the second time in seven years that Adekunle Gold has collaborated with his wife, following their previous duet in the song “No Forget,” featured on his 2016 album “Gold.”

Starting the year on a high note, the singer-songwriter released an EP titled “Tio-Tequila,” which includes tracks like “Party No Dey Stop” featuring Zinoleeksy, Omo Eko, and “Do You Mind?” These songs have been dropped consecutively, heightening the upcoming album release’s excitement.
“Tequila Ever After” is Adekunle Gold’s first album under the Def Jam Recordings label, and it coincides with his summer tour, aptly named after the album. This record signing with the American label represents a significant step for the artist in his journey to make a mark in the international music scene. The album consists of 18 tracks, which feature his wife, Simisola Gold in one of the tracks.
