Nigerian superstar singer, Davido on Sunday June 18 revealed he was going through difficulty on father’s day.
The heartbroken parent took his Instagram story on the occasion of the 2023 father’s day to share his feelings with his followers as it was his first Father’s day since he lost his first son, Ifeanyi Adeleke.
Revealing that it was a difficult one for him, he wrote, “Difficult Father’s Day for me…. But I thank God for strength. Some days will be like this. Water full my eyes but I’ll be alright! Forever!”
If you would recall, Ifeanyi reportedly died after he fell into a pool at the singer’s Banana Island mansion while his parents were away in Ibadan in October 2022.
He was later rushed to a hospital in Lekki where he was confirmed dead on arrival. Ifeanyi was only three at the time of his death.
