Still on the Afrobeats to the world wave, Nigerian music superstars, Burna Boy, Wizkid, Tems, Ayra Starr, and Asake have been nominated for the 2023 BET awards.
Burna Boy led the Nigerian contingent with four nominations, while Tems bagged three nominations with Wizkid, Ayra Starr, and Asake getting one nod each.
Burna was nominated in the Best Male R&B/Pop Artiste, Video Director of the Year, Viewer’s Choice, and Best International Act categories.
Tems on the other hand was nominated in the Best Female R&B/Pop Artiste, Best Collaboration, and Viewer’s Choice categories.
