At the Eid mosque in Gusau, the state capital, Zamfara State employees offered special prayers on Saturday.
Around 10 a.m., the workers flocked to the mosque to pray for divine intervention regarding their pay.
The employees said their last payment was in January and that it was difficult for them to meet their expectations.
