Tina Turner, whose death was announced on Wednesday at the age of 83, will undoubtedly get her dying wish: asked in her final interview six weeks ago how she wanted to be remembered, she replied: ‘As the Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll’.
The legendary singer died at her home in Küsnach near Zurich, Switzerland, following a long, unspecified illness.
