American rapper Willie Junior Maxwell II popularly known as Fetty Wap has asked a judge in his federal drug trafficking case to only sentence him to the mandatory minimum years.
Fetty Wap is currently seeking a five-year sentence after pleading guilty to conspiracy to distribute at least five hundred grams of cocaine stemming from his October 2021 arrest.
His lawyers told the judge that the rapper accepts full responsibility for his crimes, but his conduct here does not and should not define him.
They also attached a bunch of positive letters from family and friends, who said Fetty was just trying to provide for them financially by selling drugs.
