Recall that late last month Rabiu Kwankwaso, former governor of Kano, launched The National Movement, a political organisation, ahead of the 2023 general election.
Speaking at the launch of the movement, Kwankwaso said the organisation was formed to seek solutions to the country’s current economic and political challenges.
The former Kano governor said the journey of the political movement started in 2021 when a group of friends and associates met under the auspices of ‘Kwankwaso’s friends’ to review the situation of the country.
The former Kano senator also said the movement’s mission is to make the country a land of justice, freedom and equal opportunities where citizens can live in peace and prosperity.
