August Alsina has denied laughing at Chris Rock’s Netflix special, in which the comedian roasted Will Smith who slapped him at the 2022 Academy Awards. Contrary to a previous report, the singer, in fact, has not watched “Chris Rock: Selective Outrage”.
In response to the claim first reported by Page Six, a representative for August said, “This is a lie.” The rep added that the star is currently too “busy” to watch the stand-up show, telling ET, “Mr. Alsina has not seen Chris Rock’s special at all, as he’s been busy on tour.”
Previously, a source told Page Six, “August watched the Netflix special and he laughed.” The source added, “He thought it was not only funny but truthful. That was the best part for him.”
Similar to August, Will apparently also doesn’t feel the need to watch “Selective Outrage”. While he hasn’t watched the live special, he reportedly heard about Chris’ joke from others around him and read about it on social media.
